The MARM process provides a framework for professionals to facilitate effective multi-agency working with adults at risk of harm, who are deemed to have mental capacity and who are at risk of serious harm or death through self-neglect, refusal of services and/or high levels of risk-taking activity.
The aim of this session is to understand the Hull and East Riding Partnership Boards multi-agency risk management process when working with adults who are at significant risk of harm or death.
It will provide an overview of considerations around risks when working with adults deemed to have capacity to make decisions for themselves but who are risk of serious harm or death through:
- Self-neglect
- Risk taking behaviour/chaotic lifestyles
- Non engagement with services
It will also cover MARM referral pathways for Hull and East Riding clients.
