LAYER CAKE (2004) An unnamed drug-dealer wants to quit while he's ahead. But before he can enjoy the fortune he’s made from selling cocaine, he has to oblige his boss Jimmy Price for two last requests and he’s not happy with either of them. A classic British thriller with a 21st century edge.

For this special screening, novelist and screenwriter, JJ Connolly, joins Hull Noir co-founder, Nick Quantrill, to talk about the film, his source novel and its journey to the screen.
