Human Factors Training for Healthcare Professionals

This session is aimed at anyone interested in learning about human factors and introduces the underlying evidence for the crucial part that human factors play in team and individual performance of tasks.
This course will equip healthcare professionals to:
• Understand how and why errors are made, and how to avoid them
• Communicate more effectively
• Maintain team awareness
• Recognise early signs of error
• Reduce stress
• Share the plan and identify risks in advance
• Learn from success and contribute to a proactive safety culture
• Maintain safe practice
