Human Firewall Session One: Reconnaissance
Overview
This half day event will be hosted by Halo, and organised by the Northern WARP. This is session one the Human Firewall series. (You do not need to attend all sessions if you are unable to do so, each session tackles a separate part which can be attended as a standalone event.)
Content
This session explores how attackers gather access and intelligence long before an attack is visible. We’ll look at how stolen credentials are harvested and sold, modern Business Email Compromise techniques (including consent phishing), and how attackers bypass MFA. Both technical and non-technical attendees will be able to learn practical steps to spot early warning signs and reduce exposure at both user and technical levels.
This event is open to all iNetwork members & Northern WARP member organisations (you do not need to be the named person for the WARP to attend this meeting.)
If you can no longer attend, please decline the calendar invitation or contact karys.thompson@tameside.gov.uk
