Human Rights in the UAE: Why Should Britain Care?

Please join the ICFUAE for an evening seminar in Parliament on "Human Rights in the UAE: Why Should Britain Care?", kindly hosted by Tom Brake MP.
The event will be chaired by Joyce Hakmeh, Academic Fellow at Chatham House.
Speakers at the event include:
- Ahmed Al-Nuaimi, Emirati activist in exile in London
- David Haigh, former managing director of Leeds United Football Club and head of the campaign Justice4Haigh
- David Wearing, PhD holder and lecturer, SOAS
- Bill Law, award-winning journalist and Gulf analyst
The seminar will take place between 6.30-8pm, in Room A (ground floor), 1 Parliament Street. The building is opposite the Palace of Westminster, on the same side of Westminster station, by the Parliamentary bookshop.
