The Bonavero Institute for Human Rights, Oxfam and the Oxford Human Rights Hub are jointly coordinating a seminar series of six seminars focussing on different strategies that can be used for the protection and promotion of human rights. Each seminar will be led by a leading lawyer or human rights policy practitioner and a leading scholar in the field of human rights. Seminars will involve presentations on specific strategic responses to human rights problems.

The seminars will cover the following topics:

(a) Death penalty and lethal injection

(b) Right to education

(c) Reunification of families: immigration

(d) Business and Human Rights: Tort liability

(e) Domestic violence

(f) Climate Change and Environmental litigation

The seminars themselves will not be open to public participation but from 5-6pm before each seminar there will be a public 'tea and talk' which will provide an opportunity to discuss the issues with the speakers.
