Humanitarian careers in a changing world

Join experts from UCL RIsk & Disaster Reduction at Woburn House for an insightful event focusing on humanitarian careers in today's ever-evolving world.

Your journey begins with an immersive hour of hands-on exploration. Build a 'go-bag', the essential kit for sudden deployment. Handle real shelter and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) materials and add your hopes for the future onto our interactive wall.

Then gather around the table from 17.00 - 18.00 for a roundtable discussion and Q&A with researchers and practitioners in the field from UCL Risk & Disaster Reduction. They’ll share how they navigate the challenges, the rewards, and the realities of a career dedicated to humanitarian action and disaster response.

Join us for refreshments after the panel and a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, and explore the various career paths available in the humanitarian sector.
