Humanitarian Clowning Workshop
Join us at Gorse Hill Studios for a day filled with laughter and compassion!
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in using humour and play to create an impact in communities.
Led by expert facilitators, we will explore the principles of humanitarian clowning through games, activites and discussion.
Humanitarian clowns in communities
From the self, to the practice, to your community; we will explore the application of humanitarian clowning to the places where you locate your practice as artists, facilitators, and creatives.
At the end of this workshop you will have:
- A hands-on understanding of the practice of clowning in humanitarian settings
- A set of tools that you can use when working with people in your context
- Found your place within CWBUK's community of humanitarian clowns, and made a valuable contribution to this growing area of practice
No previous performance experience is necessary just a willingness to engage in creative play and to learn and share together.
