Jessica Duchen brings the acclaimed concert adaptation of her novel 'Hungarian Dances' to the Shelley Theatre. The story of a Gypsy violinist across the 20th century alternates with music influenced by folk and Gypsy traditions, performed by violinist Jack Maguire and pianist Barbara Henvest: Bartok, Brahms, Kodaly, Hubay and more. Jessica also interviews special guest Joseph Koos, former principal cellist with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, a Hungarian émigré during the 1956 Revolution.
