Terms & Conditions of play
Event Duration
Sessions will take place on Friday mornings from 10.30am - 11.45am, starting on Friday 19th September 2025. A block of 6 sessions will cost £36 per child . Adults play for free with at least one fee paying hedgehog. The last session will be on 24th October.
Entry
- Entry will be via the school gate at the bottom of Penvale Road, this gate will be open and closed, 5 minutes before and after the sessions start - sessions will begin and end at the fire circle.
- Due to the terrain and nature of the woodland , the site is not accessible to pushchairs and buggies, a buggy park will be available close-by
Refunds
- Unless cancelled by Forest school leaders at EHPS, refunds will not be issued.
Health & Safety
- Risk assessments have been conducted to ensure activities and equipment are safe to play, dynamic risk assessments will continue throughout the sessions by forest school leaders; to help us to ensure the safety of the site and activities, adults are required to notify leaders of any hazard encountered or injury sustained
- We will play outdoors regardless of the weather, so please dress your child appropriately - children must have arms and legs covered to avoid cuts, scratches or stings.
- Children must be accompanied by and supervised by an adult at all times - our sessions take place in a live natural woodland setting and the children will need constant supervision to help them avoid any hazards.
- All visitors must sign in and remain within the forest school boundary, there is no access to the school building and entry onto the school playground is strictly forbidden
- In the event of a fire/fire drill, adults and children will evacuate the site, following the Forest school leader instructions
Toilets
- Toilets and changing facilities will be available - nappies must be taken home.
Safeguarding & Social Media
- Safeguarding all our children and visitors at EHPS is a top priority, any safeguarding issues can and will be recorded and reported.
- Whilst you are welcome to take photographs of your child at play, we would ask that you exercise caution if posting on social media as other parents/carers may not have given permission for their child’s picture to be used.

- All play is the responsibility of Parents/carers, East Hunsbury Primary School does not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury, loss or damage to property.
- East Hunsbury Primary School reserves the right to withdraw places for breaches of the rules of play.
