Overview

How to capture, share and leverage data on what the project team thinks, believes and feels and what this all means for your projects.

Speaker

Jonathan Norman

Synopsis

How to capture, share and leverage data on what the project team thinks, believes and feels and what this all means for your projects. We may not like to admit it but perception, belief and emotion are fundamental to successful project outcomes.

These psychological factors effect:

  • User adoption of new software.
  • Cooperation or competition in large delivery teams.
  • Adherence to systems and common processes.
  • Transparent communication and reporting.
  • Cognitive bias and strategic manipulation.
  • Perceptions of value and risk.
  • Team well-being and burnout.

The speaker will walk you through the process of Human-Centric Data sharing examples from a number of large projects; explaining how to collect small amounts of data in the three minutes at the end of each progress meeting; how to share this data back to the team within 24 hours of the meeting; some of the common ratings and what they can tell you about project health; how to visualise the results in ways that make most sense to all; how to use AI to analyse and model both quantitative and qualitative data; and five principles that underpin the whole process.

We will also share a simple set of ratings to which delegates can respond and analyse what the data is telling us in real-time.
