From his humble beginnings as an off page SEO executive at Search Laboratory in 2012, Matt’s career has been focussed on Digital PR from day one. His experience spans both B2B and B2C brands, and he’s had a hand in crafting headlines and driving fame for brands such as Irwin Mitchell, Ann Summers and JCT600. 

Speaker: Mark Wiggins, Head of Content at HUB 

Mark has been making brands look and sound their best for over a decade. With experience in various B2B and B2C client-and-agency-side roles covering strategy, creative and copywriting, Mark has a strong grasp of how content drives success within the wider marketing mix. Previously part of the Search Laboratory team, Mark’s clients have included Moonpig, Homebase and Kia. 

Speaker: Jade Chadwick, Digital PR Executive at HUB 

Jade is a communications professional with extensive experience leading PR and integrated marketing campaigns across both B2B and B2C sectors. Jade’s approach is a combination of keen strategy and creative leftfield thinking, and it’s worked well for a mix of global, national and regional brands who have trusted her with their Digital PR strategies over the years.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yep, wheelchair access can be found at the back of the building on Park Cross Street.

Will there be food?

What kind of breakfast event would it be without some quality food? We’ll have brunch, teas, coffees and other drinks provided by Leeds-based roastery and cafe IF Up North.

I’m veggie/vegan/gluten free/lactose free – will I be catered for?

Of course! Let us know when booking your ticket if you have any dietary requirements we need to be aware of, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Will there be any need for audience participation?

Our speakers may ask the audience a few questions, but they won’t ever pick on anyone or make you feel uncomfortable - feel free contribute as much or as little as you want.

Is there parking nearby?

Street parking can be found on Park Place (LS1 2SJ, 2 min walk from Avenue HQ) but it does tend to get snapped up quickly in the morning. Alternatively, Q-Park Albion Street is also nearby (LS1 5JS, 5 min walk).

How do I get there using public transport?

If public transport is more your thing, Avenue HQ is only a 7-minute walk from Leeds Station, and it’s also well connected for buses dropping off on King Street, The Headrow and Infirmary Street.
