I Made You A Playlist
Feat. Northumberland
A musical love letter to Northumberland and all the people and places we’re missing right now. A new multimedia project created in collaboration with you.
Is there someone you’re missing during lockdown?
A place you wish you could go, but can’t right now?
We’re making a playlist and we need your help.
Help us create the ultimate lockdown playlist, by dedicating a song to a special person or place in Northumberland that you’re missing right now.
A selection of your dedications will be incorporated into a new live-streamed performance for the Northumberland Winter Festival on 10th and 11th March at 7.30pm, with all performances captioned.
You can get involved as an individual, family or community group. Simply add your songs and dedications online here or by calling our telephone hotline on 0191 274 2318. Add your chosen track and story after the beep!
Following the performances, all of the tracks and dedications will be shared online on our ever-growing virtual playlist for you to enjoy.
Tickets: free
Dates: Wednesday 10 March, 7.30pm | Thursday 11 March, 7.30pm
Duration: 1hr
Suitability: 13yrs+
“Right now, I really miss my dad and I proper miss the coast so of course together that gives you The Beach Boys. When it was my birthday, in lockdown, I remembered the birthday I spent with my Dad at home. We went to the coast, had a lemon top and one of those long chats. He’s really good at those”
