IAMCP Exclusive ....
Microsoft Executive Round Table with Julie Bennani, General Manager, Partner Programs at Microsoft Corporation (Redmond), and Burke Fewel, Director, Worldwide Partner Capability Development at Microsoft.
This is a unique Round Table exclusively run by IAMCP for the benefit of our members. The Round Table will take the format of a brief introduction followed by open discussion and FAQ's.
IAMCP Members will have the opportunity to meet with Julie and Burke and share their views experiences, wishes and desires. They are keen to meet with IAMCP members to discuss current partner initiatives especially around how to address skills, training and certification issues and how the MPN programme, and Microsoft might better serve its community of partners in this area.
Not only is this an opportunity for partners to understand what Microsoft is doing to help them address the talent gap, it is also an opportunity for Julie and Burke to gain first hand input from partners that are facing these day to day challenges of business growth and talent gap issues in the IT market. This input should help shape future strategy and direction regarding competency management and certification roadmap development. BizSpark members will also benefit from this session and allow an opportunity to understand these challenges from a start-up perspective, and for newer partners to understand what it takes to build a successful partner business built on competent staff. For more mature partners, it provides an opportunity to share experiences and success stories, and how challenges around training, certification and skills are being addressed in their own businesses.
It is also an opportunity to have some discussions around Microsoft’s FY14 Strategy and future roadmap for Partners and how the MPN Programme impacts on Partners and their businesses. The impact of the cloud and the transition from traditional to cloud and devices business model is a challenge right now for many partners and this is one area where feedback about how the MPN programme is serving partners would be most valuable. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard and be able to influence the direction of the MPN programme. In addition, there will be an opportunity for a general FAQ session.
This round table event follows on from the extremely successful series originally started with Nigel Postings, Paul O'Connell and the other Executive Round Tables run at the Worldwide Partner Conference in previous years. Because of this on-going success and the demand to continue and expand our Executive Round Table series, we have opened up a series of round tables with different focus areas. If you are unable to attend this session or the session is fully booked, then there will be an opportunity to attend other round tables with Karl Noakes, Josh Waldo, Anders Spatzek (with Julie) and Jon Roskill.
