Ian Prowse is no stranger to Stroud having played a number of sold out shows in recent years. Known for his dynamic and passionate live shows Ian is accompanied by the magnificent Fiddle of Fire producing a mixture of rock and roll with a fusion of celtic sounds, majestic vibes of classic Liverpool melodies and biting lyrics.
Respected by some of music's premier artists and songwriters, Ian has had his songs performed all over the world. His song 'Does This Train Stop On Mersyside' once brought John Peel to tears live on radio and has also been perfomed live by the great Christy Moore.
Ian has used his voice and platform to speak up for the dis-enfranchised and carries his political views in all that he does both on and off the stage.
We consider it an absolute privilege to have Ian grace our community centre and can't wait to welcome him.
In support of Ian is local artist Amy Moore. Amy is a wonderful songwriter and singer. She has built up a loyal following and her songs are a fusion of Americana, County and Folk. We are thrilled to be able to showcase Amy on what will be a night to remember.
