On Monday 8th September we will be hosting an IAS Friends and Fellows Coffee Morning, where we will welcome current IAS Residential Fellow Dr Bibiana Oliveira Serpa and Open Programme Fellow Professor Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi.

Dr Bibiana Oliveira Serpa, Nem Presa Nem Morta Campaign

Dr Bibiana Oliveira Serpa is a Brazilian designer, researcher and activist whose work brings together participatory design research, social movement theory, feminist praxis and visual communication for social change. She holds a PhD in Design from Rio de Janeiro State University, where she developed Militant Design Research, a methodological approach based on Paulo Freire's pedagogy and Latin American social research traditions.

Professor Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi, West Ukrainian National University

Prof. Dluhopolskyi is a Doctor of Science in Economics and a full Professor of the Economics Department at West Ukrainian National University (WUNU), is a Board Member of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NAQA, Ukraine) and Executive Director of the Non-Governmental Organisation “Civic Synergy”.
