Multiple Dates
IAS Writers’ Coffee Club: for UCL PhD students at any stage
Event Information
About this Event
Are you struggling with structure? Perplexed by planning? Overwhelmed by research? Having trouble staying motivated, or worrying about deadlines?
IAS Coffee Club is an informal weekly session for Post-Grads to discuss their written work, led alternately by UCL Creative Fellow, playwright Nicola Baldwin, and IAS Director, Professor Nicola Miller.
60-minute sessions will include writing exercises and practical tips to help you reframe your writing challenges, untangle the knots in your dissertation, and make writing enjoyable. Please do come along to share ideas, find inspiration and meet people from other fields of study.
This is a weekly drop-in event but please register to attend. At registration, tell us your research topic and a short description of the writing difficulty you want to resolve.
All UCL PhD students welcome. Joining instructions will be posted on this webpage. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance on the day, and follow this FAQ link for more information and to read our virtual events code of conduct. All our events are free, but you can support the IAS here.
