Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Full time students are required to bring ID.
No age limits upper or lower.
Does the Student Registration rate only apply to SOAS students?
No, it is available to ALL full time students
Are there Concessions?
Not in general. Anybody wanting to apply for a hardship concession please contact the organiser below.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Central London - parking very difficult. Nearest tube stations Russell Square & Goodge Street. Go to the little icons below the map at very bottom of application form and Googlemaps will advise you in real time how to arrive by train, bus, car , bike or on foot.

What's the refund policy?
Full refund (less transaction fees) until May 3rd 9.00 am
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes - you will need it for lunch if you have Member or Standard registration and have booked on or before 23rd April.
Can I update my registration information?
Is my registration fee or ticket transferable?
No . Cancel existing and rebook.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
No. Cancel and rebook (Students do not pay transaction fees)
I am a MIAS Member - how do I receive a discount?
The Secretary of the Ibn 'Arabi Society will be circulating the current fully-paid members with a Promotional (discount) Code to be entered before you select the ticket. Press Enter Promotional Code top right in blue above Member (or Member Early Bird) registration. You then enter the Code - not case sensitive. This changes the registration rate for the ticket that otherwise shows at Standard rate. Then you select the ticket.
Available depending on space - bookable on line from April 24th. Standard Registration fee £45 - No lunch included (we have to give SOAS 2 weeks notice of numbers for catering purposes).
Cash at Door?
We are unable to take cash at the door, but should be able to take online payments via Eventbrite.
Who receives Lunch?
Member and Standard registrations are entitled to a light sandwich lunch + tea and coffee as well as herb teas, biscuits and fruit will be provided. Numbers for catering purposes must be notified to SOAS two weeks in advance - so after 23rd April it will not be possible to book lunch - but you will get teas and coffees etc.
Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes - they will be on marked plates.
Will there be special diets catered for?
Sorry we are not able to do this. Please apply to organiser (below) for a £6 lunch refund if you have a Member or Standard ticket and must bring your own food.
Who gets teas & coffees?
Everybody - will include herb teas
