Ibn 'Arabi's creative imagination: crossing borders to discover the meaning of being human.

About this event

This event, organised by Language Acts and Worldmaking and the Muhyiddin Ibn ‘Arabi Society, will explore how Ibn ‘Arabi’s creative imagination crosses philosophical, poetic, linguistic and artistic borders and will examine how his ideas continue to inspire contemporary poetry, film, art and music to this day.

The event will comprise two short talks, poetry readings, a round-table discussion and an opportunity for questions.

Online Event Protocols

2) Please join the seminar 10 minutes before the start time. It is important that the session starts promptly.

3) All microphones will be muted by the facilitator during the presentations. During the Q & A session they can be unmuted individually.

4) The presentations only will be recorded for YouTube by the facilitator. This will not include participants' information or images of them. No other recording is permitted. Videos of the presentations will be available on the Society's YouTube channel.
