Event description

Description

This workshop is designed for those who organise events or manage mosques and Islamic organisations. In the current climate, it is important to have the right policies and procedures in place to preserve the reputation of your organisation and wider image of the Muslim community. The speakers will guide you through best practice in light of the increased media scrutiny in which the Muslim community finds itself. You will hear about how East London Mosque navigates itself through various issues such as vetting speakers for its events. You will work through a practical example of a policy that you could adopt for your organisation.
