COMING TO JERSEY THROUGHOUT 2022! World leading Blues Music Award winning artist and Jersey resident Giles Robson, in association with ICECAP LTD, presents a series of exceptional Intimate concerts.

Each month, blues harmonica virtuoso Robson will musically join forces with some of the world’s most celebrated Blues, Roots and Rock musicans and create unique one off shows, ONLY for Jersey audiences.

You won’t be able to experience these performances in a live setting anywhere else in the world, at anytime other than at the celebrated Blue Note Bar in the centre of St Helier.

Limited to just 50 audience members per night, these will be unique, intimate evenings in a venue that provides a perfect setting for an unforgettable up close night of unbeatable music.

Relax with a glass of beer, wine or a spirit and enjoy the best musicians the world has to offer, playing for you just a few feet from where you stand or are seated. Acclaimed UK blues legend Eddie Martin is coming to Jersey for the next Icecap LTD Blues, Rock & Roots Night at the Blue Note Thurs 19th and Fri 20th May. The Times calls him “One of the most respected UK blues musicians" and Whats On In London calls him “easily the best blues guitarist Britain has produced since Clapton”. The esteemed Mojo Magazine celebrated his latest album "The Birdcage Sessions" as the best European blues release of 2021. Eddie will join forces with Jersey's Giles Robson to create a unique and powerful electric/acoustic show for Jersey audiences only that features his stellar electric guitar playing, sensitive acoustic playing and his astounding "One-Man-Band" set up.

Considered one of the world's finest and in demand piano and Hammond B3 Hammond organ maestros, Bruce Katz is a giant in the field of American blues and rock music. Its going to be an incredible honour to welcome him for the first time to Jersey! His first fulltime gig was as a bass player with Big Mama Thornton, he then switched to his true calling - the keyboard and spent four years with Barrance Whitfield and The Savages. His next gig was with Ronnie Earl and The Broadcasters and from then on has been one of the blues and rock world's most in demand sidemen recording with Delbert McClinton, Duke Robillard, Joe Louis Walker, Debbie Davies, David "Fathead" Newman, John Hammond and others. From 2007 to 2013, Katz was a regular member of Gregg Allman and Friends.[1] In 2011, he joined Delbert McClinton's Band and continued to play with him until 2014. He continues to play with John P. Hammond on occasion. Katz performed with Allman Brothers founding member Butch Trucks in two different groups - Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band and Les Brers, a band that contained 5 members of the Allman Brothers Band and Katz on keyboards.

In 2018 he joined forces with Jersey's own Giles Robson and blues legend Joe Louis Walker. Relesed on Alligator Records the Album won the Memphis Blues Music Award for best acoustic album in 2019 and was a Mojo Magazine album of the year.

Local Jersey resident and Internationally acclaimed blues artist Giles Robson, is considered one of the finest blues harmonica virtuosos in the world. The only UK or EU blues artist to appear on Chicago’s legendary blues label Alligator Records, who describe him as a “Blues giant, absolute master of the form”.

In 2019 he triumphantly toured 15 different countries worldwide and became the third only UK blues artist alongside Eric Clapton and Peter Green to win a Memphis Blues Music Award (the Grammy of the blues).

His 2019 album “Don’t Give Up On The Blues” was a Mojo Magazine Blues Album Of The Year and was described as the best album of 2020 by Sweden’s Jefferson Magazine - the world’s longest running in print blues magazine. A dazzling performer and a remarkable showman. American Blues Scene Magazine lauds Robson as being “Well worth his place in blues harp history”.
