Innovation Birmingham and Thomas Vale Construction would like to welcome you to a soft opening event, to mark the completion of the eagerly anticipated, iCentrum.
You’ll get a VIP, behind the scenes look at the new building and its fantastic facilities – with drinks and nibbles provided! The event takes place from 12 – 2pm on Wednesday 23rd March.
This invitation is coming to you as a valued tenant and we would be delighted if you could join us to mark this occasion and to celebrate the completion of the building.
iCentrum is located next to Faraday Wharf and Aston University, off Holt Street. It will provide 42,149 sq ft (3,881 sq m) of brand new tech incubation space and facilities, and represents the first phase of expansion of the Innovation Birmingham Campus, which is currently fully let.
New businesses in iCentrum will create 400 high-value skilled tech jobs, generating £25 million of GVA to the local economy per annum. Back in January 2015, the building was one of the first to start on-site within the Greater Birmingham & Solihull LEP’s Enterprise Zone, which features 26 sites within central Birmingham.
When & Where
Innovation Birmingham Campus
Innovation Birmingham Campus; The base for Birmingham’s tech community.
The Innovation Birmingham strategy is focused on a service offering for founders of new technology ventures, as well as more established tech businesses. The campus facilities include the Entrepreneurs for the Future (e4f) multi-occupancy start-up centre with hot-desking facilities and a wide range of flexible office units (115-15,000 sq ft). However, the campus is far from just bricks and mortar; the team actively nurtures an interactive and supportive community within the place.
