We are pleased to invite you to take part in the training session ICF MedUse: a new framework to develop support plans for children with SEND. This free training session will introduce you to a new system and tool to help professionals working with children with SEND in developing high quality support plans. The ICF MedUse tool is a new online tool that provides a user friendly way of developing individualised and holistic descriptions of children with SEND in a multidisciplinary team. It is based on the International Classification of Functioning, which is endorsed by the World Health Organisation. Dr Castro and Dr Palikara from the University of Roehampton are part of the team who created this tool and will be delivering the training.
The training session is aimed at all professionals who work with children with SEND and contribute to the development of support plans and/or education health and care plans.
