About this event
We invite you to join our online roundtable discussion on Intangible Cultural Heritage in the UK, specifically focusing on Scotland.
This is one of a series of public roundtable discussions we are holding alongside the online consultation survey. We are keen to discuss some of the decisions regarding the first stage of implementing the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage: specifically, to define and identify Intangible Cultural Heritage.
This online roundtable discussion is themed around Scotland. We invite anyone with an interest in this aspect of Intangible Cultural Heritage to join. We have a number of other themed discussions planned (see list below). You are welcome to register for whichever is most suited to your interests and/or availability, and welcome to join more than one discussion should you wish.
The first part of the session will be a presentation, then we will open up into a discussion, with a ten minute break halfway through.
Please visit our online consultation survey for more information on what this roundtable discussion will cover. We will include a short introduction to the area for background information and further detail, we recommend the UNESCO website for the Convention.
Please sign up to this roundtable discussion below.
