About this event

They say Thursday is the new Friday – and there’s no better way to kick off your weekend than at the ICS Open House Night at The Star in Sidcup.

Held on the second Thursday of each month, Irish Community Services invites you to an evening celebrating Irish culture and heritage, with live performances from local talent and music from the Emerald Isle.

Hosted by a fantastic MC, the night promises variety, energy, and plenty of moments to dance, sing along or simply sit back and enjoy. Bring your friends and family to enjoy the atmosphere and support not just a great charity, but the creativity and spirit of the Irish community.

Doors open at 6pm and the event wraps up at 8:30pm – but feel free to stay for a drink or two at the lovely Star pub afterwards (pub open til 11pm).

Parking

Venue car park is free for all users. There are 6x Blue Badge parking bays within the car park; nearest space is 10m from the main entrance & furthest is 18m. The route from the car park to the entrance is accessible to a wheelchair user with assistance.

Accessibility

There is ramped/sloped access at the main entrance, width of the door opening is 163cm. There is level access to the services, a hearing assistance system. Motorized scooters are welcomed in public parts of the venue.
