ICT to Inspire
9am - 3:30pm - 25th February 2015
(£90 + VAT)
This is a fantastic opportunity for schools to hear from lead practitioners in the field of technology to support learning.
Working in a conference/training environment, delegates will take part in a fast past, informative and interactive session.
We recommend that schools send their IT Technician along with a member of teaching staff.
Agenda to include:
• Presentation by Tim and Sarah: Using ICT to Inspire: Raising levels of creativity in children of all abilities
• A ‘hands on’ session exploring the virtual worlds of Myst III (or recap and reflection for those who attended classroom session).
• Further ideas for developing visual literacy, including making interactive multi-model writing frames and other accessible imaginative tools.
Tim will set delegates practical tasks to do over the following 12 weeks, throughout which will keep in online contact
• Delegates will need to bring a laptop with a DVD drive and administrator rights so they can install the programme used in the session. A ration of 1 laptop between 2 delegates is optimum. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Ellen.Lee@sdsa.net
