‘Dis-Ability Manchester: Breaking Barriers and Celebrating Ability’

a joint celebration of the

2014 UN-designated International Day of Disabled People (IDDP)


We aim to make this event as interactive as possible and refreshments will be provided. Ticket numbers are limited due to venue size, so book early to avoid disappointment. If you have any queries about the event, please contact us using the details below especially if you have any specific access needs. Parking is limited so please contact us ASAP.

Please ensure that you book a ticket for general admission to this event (which includes the exhibition stalls and the opening and closing speeches) and separate tickets for any of workshops you wish to attend. You may book on one workshop in each block (i.e. Workshop 1, 2 or 3 in the 1st Block, and Workshop 4 or 5 in the 2nd Block). You will also need to book a separate ticket to attend the University Challenge Quiz!

Do I have to bring my printed tickets to the event?

Please bring your tickets with you, in hard copy or electronically on a mobile device, so that we can register you and keep you posted about anything of interest. It also helps us to ensure that we give priority to those who have booked a place and enables us to adhere to Health & Safety regulations in terms of capacity.
