In a new development for Sheffield Year of Reading, we’re very glad to offer you to a Philosophy for Communities (P4C) enquiry session. P4C is a way of doing philosophical thinking that everyone can join in with. This enquiry session will delve into poetry in a new and exploratory way.

We’ll start by sharing a poem and then use interactive activities to try creative, critical, collaborative and caring ways of thinking to explore the ideas we find. P4C encourages everyone to discuss and reflect together about questions that matter. The group will come up with questions to get you talking and thinking together.

All are welcome – no experience required!

Rosie Carnall is a creative facilitator, who uses P4C with people of all ages to get them thinking, talking, listening and having fun. She’s offering this session for Sheffield Libraries as part of a community philosophy project with DECSY.
