Identifying, assessing and improving children’s learning (online course)
Mon, 6 Feb 2017, 09:00 – Mon, 27 Feb 2017, 18:00
This is a facilitated 3 week online course where you will benefit from learning with a global cohort of teachers as well as one of our experienced trainers. You will be expected to log onto the course at least every other day, and should plan to spend around 4 hours per week, at times to suit you. Group sizes will range from 4-30 participants.
This course is ideal for schools who are confident with their implementation of the IPC, and now want to dig deeper into learning. The course links closely to Criteria 1, 5 and 9 of the IPC Self-Review Process, exploring the differences between knowledge, skills and understanding and how these impact on planning, teaching, learning, assessing and reporting. The course also looks at the IPC Assessment for Learning programme in more detail, sharing best practice from IPC schools around the world.
Before signing up to this course we recommend that you have completed Getting to Grips with the IPC and been using IPC for at least 1 year. If you have not done either of these then this course may not be suitable for you.
