Event description

Description

This is an experiential supervision workshop. It will enable you as a practitioner to deepen your understanding of who you become in your work with clients, and thus enhance the effectiveness of your practice.

The focus of this experiential supervision is the exploration of your Identity in relationship with the client.

What's in it for you as a professional???

The opportunity to:

  • explore the potential entanglements in your client relationships
  • experience how coping strategies show up in the consulting room
  • enrich your knowledge and understanding of how relational trauma relates to your work

Central to the workshop is the Identity oriented Psychotrauma Theory (IoPT) of Professor Franz Ruppert, as it applies in your field of expertise. We will be working with the Intention Method, a process of self exploration, also developed by Ruppert over many years of clinical practice.

Your supervision will provide you with an opportunity to reflect on yourself in your work, and engage in a self encounter process to deepen your inner awareness and insight, and enrich your practice.

What other professionals have said:

The workshop provided a new and valuable approach to professional supervision which will help me to ask different – and more helpful – questions of myself when working with clients. Jules and Alexandra created the safe and respectful working environment that allowed me to be open to deep learning. Thank you.”

J.S.-Coach and Workshop Facilitator

"I signed up for this workshop as I’d reached a stage in my coaching where I knew I was ‘hitting up’ against something that was getting in the way of my best coaching. I hadn’t really taken any time to reflect and really explore what it was. This approach certainly provided that reflective space and more. I gained some deep insights into myself and how this shows up in my coaching. This along with the learning from others in the group and the inputs on the theory behind it made it a truly memorable experience leaving me thirsty for more".

Shirley Greenaway, Executive Coach

“I would highly recommend this workshop if you want to undertake some deeper experiential, even therapeutic work on yourself in relationship to your traumatised part and survival strategies. The workshop uses a unique approach to constellations that brings to life a powerful model of identity splits in the psyche (created by Professor Franz Ruppert). I suspect I may look back at this event as a seminal moment in my long term healing process, as well as helping me make sense of the way that trauma and survival selves show up in coaching.” Anonymous

The workshop is facilitated by Alexandra Smith www.alexandraasmith.co.uk and Julia Vaughan Smith www.juliavaughansmith.co.uk. Both are experienced Psychotherapists, Executive Coaches, Supervisors and practitioners working with Identity orientated trauma and the Intention Method.
