About this event

Identity Global Majority Writers Group is a weekly workshop for Black, Asian and Middle-Eastern writers based in Greater Manchester. Attendees share their creative writing (including fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction) and receive constructive feedback. Joining the group also gives you access to performance and submission opportunities.

Sessions are facilitated by Cultureword staff including poets Ella Otomewo and Radhaika Kapur, and novelist Dr Pete Kalu.

We will be in room 3.09 on the third floor above Manchester Poetry Library.

Organized by

Cultureword is a writing development organisation based in Manchester, providing opportunities for new and aspiring writers to develop their talent and potential. Our competitions, workshops and events act as a point of focus for many writers seeking encouragement and confidence. From small beginnings in 1977, we have grown into the largest new writing, community writing and publishing organisation in the North West. We work on regional, national and international levels, promoting new writing and helping new writers become more successful.
