iDenture: Tooth and Gum Level 1

This one-day beginner course using Sr Nexco composite is specifically designed for delegates who have not previously used, or may have very limited knowledge or experience of using composites for the characterisation of teeth and gingiva.
On this one-day course at Leicester you will start with a comprehensive lecture, tutor John Wibberley will cover all you need to know about tooth shape and morphology as well as what to look for when creating a natural gingival appearance on your restorations. You will also learn the correct way to either add to or characterise gum work on your prosthetics using SR Nexco, you will learn how to get the best from the material and learn its different uses and applications.
This course will also cover basic tooth characterisation and how to create a more natural looking tooth by simple cutback techniques, you will be shown how to easily and quickly characterise both tooth and gum as well as learn techniques, tips and tricks on how to achieve a natural tooth shape and high quality surface texture.
You will gain experience on tooth characterisation via a detailed hands-on demonstration with SR Nexco gum and tooth characterisation composite, after which you will have the time to create your own characterised teeth and gingiva for your own reference in future.
