Speakers and presentations:


Andrew Moore Senior Operations Manager, Prospects Services, part of the Shaw Trust Group

Andrew is responsible for all Employability contracts in London and the South of England for the Group, including New Enterprise Allowance, Employment Plus - the ESFA’s Career and In Work Progression programme in London, as well as various other DWP and devolved Employability contracts. Prior to working at Prospects, Andrew spent six years at A4e/PeoplePlus working on contracts such as Flexible New Deal, Work Programme and Offender Learning and Skills Service  (OLASS), amongst others.


Andrew’s presentation will be ‘What Works in Supporting In Work Progression’ and will look at the learnings from the Employment Plus programme that supports low-paid and low-skilled employed individuals in London, what has worked and what has been a challenge, and what the future of in work progression looks like.


Sam Windett, Director of Policy, Impetus 

Sam is the Director of Policy for Impetus, which transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the right support to succeed in school, in work and in life. Previously, Sam was Head of Policy at the Employment Related Services Association and, prior to that, led the policy and public affairs work for frontline organisations in the private and charity sectors.

Sam will be presenting Impetus’ new research which establishes an ‘employment gap’ between disadvantaged young people and their better-off peers. The first national report from the Youth Jobs Gap series was recently released at an event headlined by the Minister for Employment, Alok Sharma MP, and provided the fullest picture of the education and employment prospects of disadvantaged young people in the UK to date.


Jackie Hadfield, Operations Manager, Groundwork

Jackie Hadfield has been managing employment support programmes for providers such as Novus, Ixion and most recently helping to implement and drive 11 employment support programmes for Groundwork London including Work & Health, Aspiring Families, NEETs as well as leading on the BBO / ESF funded Able, Capable, Employed programme.

Jackie will be talking about "Delivering a service for everyone whilst managing multiple contracts” looking at the key takeaways from delivering multiple employment programmes and maximizing opportunities for clients"


Guy Chaudoir, Employment Team Manager, Support to Work, Scope

Guy is Employment Team Manager at Scope and worked within the charity’s employment team since 2012, providing employment services and projects to disabled people through a number of Corporate Partnerships.

He currently manages Scope’s national employment service Support to Work in conjunction with Virgin Media as part of Scope’s Work with Me campaign.

Previously Guy has worked for Smart Training and Reed in Partnership in the UK and Australia  and was a retail manager with Smyths Toys, Harrods and Virgin.

Guy will be delivering a presentation entitled "Scope and Virgin Media, Work with Me - Employment support as part of a larger campaign".
