Since 2008, Sweden has been exploring the privatization of job placement services. Initially, progress was gradual, but the sector has experienced a number of transformations over time. A significant reform of the Swedish Public Employment Service in 2019 led to an increase in the number of job seekers being directed to these privatized services. This seminar explores the background and shows what the current Swedish provider market looks like.
