UTC Reading, Kendrick School, Reading Girls’ School and Leighton Park School are working with the IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology) to host a series of talks on Women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Talks will be delivered by women in a range of careers and from a variety of backgrounds, aiming to inspire young people to see the wealth of opportunities available to them in STEM.

This event is aimed at young people, parents and anyone interested in STEM careers.

This talk will be given by Amanda Walker and Katie Munday (alumni of UTC Reading!) from DP Architects, a highly experienced team of architects and technologists based in Watlington in Oxfordshire on 23rd January 2018.

Amanda Walker is a fully qualified Royal Institute of British Architects, Charter Member with over 18 years’ experience in sectors including; leisure, housing and health care. She has worked for DP Architects for over 7 years. Katie Munday is a former student of UTC Reading and is currently completing an apprenticeship at DP Architects.
