IF and When to Go Agile - Diverse Views – October 5th

Agile is most frequently associated with software localisation to enable truly global product launches with faster delivery times. There are inherent challenges to traditional business models, when LSPs adapt to an Agile environment of more frequent and unpredictable deliverables throughout the development cycle. Adapting to an Agile environment impacts everything, from technology and processes, to resources and pricing models. Agile-like requirements are popping up in all sorts of industries we serve, and while pure Agile may not be appropriate, implementing some aspects of the Agile methodoloy can be helpful when we need to meet extremely demanding turnaround times (sometimes continuous) in more languages and at the same quality level. Our panel of experts will look at this important methodology from an number of angles: pure Agile implementation on both the client and vendor side and a vendor investigated Agile, decided against a purist application of it and opted instead to implemented a hybrid solution to meet customer demands. It will be a very diverse view of this hot topic.
