If mindfulness is a doorway, what’s on the other side?
Overview
If mindfulness is a doorway, what’s on the other side?
Come join us for an enlightening workshop at The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay where we explore the depths of mindfulness. Peter Yiangou will guide a three-part series exploring what lies “on the other side” — and how this inquiry can deepen our understanding of happiness, awareness, and personal growth.
Workshop Focus
Mindfulness is the simple practice of returning our attention to the present moment with care and curiosity. It helps us appreciate life as it is, meeting its ups and downs with resilience and balance.
But what if mindfulness is more than a tool for managing stress?
What if it’s a doorway — inviting us into a deeper, richer dimension of experience?
Across these sessions we’ll explore:
· How mindfulness helps us recognise and release unhelpful mental habits
· What it means to live with a sense of connection and wholeness
· How mindful awareness can open into the wisdom of contemplative traditions
· Finding the meeting point between the ordinary and the sacred.
Each workshop will include short guided practices, reflective discussion, and readings from a range of sources.
