CherAnn & Co. presents ‘If You Can Dream’, featuring music from Disney & Animated classics, accompanied by Jordan Li-Smith (recently MD for Ragtime at The Charing Cross Theatre – Winner, Off West End Award for Best Musical Direction & Best Musical Production). This concert is in aid of YoungMinds UK; the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Support will enable YoungMinds to continue to provide vital services for children, young people, parents, carers and professionals.

About the cast:

CHERANN THORKILSEN is of British, Scottish, Irish, & Filipino heritage born & raised in North Vancouver, Canada who moved to London in 2014. She produced her solo cabaret ‘Journey to the Past’ at The Pheasantry in 2016 with special guests who have performed in The West End & internationally. CherAnn completed the 1-year Acting/Musical Theatre program at The Dorset School of Acting & has worked with various industry practitioners in London in acting through song. Recently, she produced & performed in her 2nd charity cabaret 'The American Songbook' at The Phoenix Artist Club, & took part in the Showcase class at The Growing Studio. CherAnn strives to reach her full potential as a performer, to inspire others to go for their dreams no matter how hard it is, & she enjoys collaborating with those who share the same passion. CherAnn’s real name is Cheryl, and her top 3 favourite Disney films are The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast, and Mulan. Some music influences growing up were Julie Andrews, Lea Salonga, Judy Garland, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston. @CherAnnThor

JORDAN LI-SMITH is from North Wales and is an award winning musical director & orchestrator, based in London. He trained as a musical director at the Royal Academy Of Music, as a Sir Elton John Scholar. He is also a proud alumnus of National Youth Music Theatre and an Associate of the London College Of Music. Jordan is writing a new musical with Ray Rackham, entitled Therapy The Musical (Like on Facebook for future updates!), with hopes of releasing a concept album in 2018. This marks his professional debut writing for the theatre. Jordan’s notable MD credits include the acclaimed actor-musician revival of Ragtime at Charing Cross Theatre, for which he won the 2017 Off West End Award for Best Musical Director. Other credits as MD & orchestrator include; Some Lovers (The Other Palace), The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin (Theatre Royal, Stratford East) & Through The Mill (Southwark Playhouse). Jordan will be MD for the upcoming new musical, The Assassination Of Katie Hopkins at Theatre Clwyd in April 2018. His favourite Disney animated films are Beauty & The Beast, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame & Mary Poppins (does that count?!). He will happily play Disney songs all day long, especially for charity.

JENNIE NEUMANN is an Ovation Award winning actor hailing from Vancouver, Canada. She is proud to be part of the inaugural graduating class of Capilano University’s Musical Theatre Program. She was last seen as The Fox in the World Premiere of The Little Prince with Theatre Calgary as well as the two-night concert event starring Hugh Grant with the Abu Dhabi Arts Festival. Favourite Canadian credits include; Eponine in Les Miserables, Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray and Natalie Goodman in Next to Normal. Jennie has made it her life’s mission to introduce her niece to all the Disney classics including her personal favourite, Sleeping Beauty.

REBECCA KINTOFF trained at the London Studio Centre, University of the Arts London and is a former member of the National Youth Theatre and West End Kids. She is a born and bred Londoner but, following graduation, has travelled the world performing for companies such as Disney Cruise Line, DreamWorks Productions, Feld Entertainment, ProActiv Live Entertainment, Eurodisney, ImageMT and Premiere Stage Productions. She is currently a performer for The Walt Disney Company special events team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Rebecca loves knitting and playing piano in her spare time and has just started learning how to Snowboard! Her favourite Disney movie is Hercules. @Beki_Kintoff

LEANNE COUPLAND grew up in Warwickshire and developed her passion for Musical Theatre whilst training at Julie Bromage Dance Academy in Bedworth. She went on to train professionally at London Studio Centre specialising in Musical Theatre and upon graduating, furthered her training as an actress at The Actors Class on their Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced courses. She is part of an emerging Musical Theatre company called iSoulayshun, directed by James Milton and Nick Larkin. Since graduating she has performed at the Adelphi Theatre as part of the ensemble in a production ofThoroughly Modern Millie and most recently played Gertrude in an Italian tour of Hamlet, the Musical. The Lion King is her favourite Disney film of all time and one of her biggest theatre idols is Broadway actress, Stephanie J Block.
