Artist Hilary Cox Condron has been working alongside Cambridge residents, Patrick Morris and her Agony Aunt alter-ego to creatively explore our relationships to democracy: from the everyday actions that keep democracy alive, to the faultines and failings, to imagining how a thriving democracy of the future might look. Come and step into the banquet and take a seat at one of the tables for a feast of democracy exhibits, interactive installations, provocations, badge making (because we all need a badge!) and interviews... or take a shimmey outside for a spot of disco dancing to mark 30 years of the Nolan Principles (whatever happened to the Nolans??)....
Drop in for as long as you wish.
Exhibition Room, Guildhall. Sat 4th Oct 10.30am-7pm and Sun 5th Oct 11am-5.30pm
This is part of a weekend of installations, performances and other events to mark the culmination of The Trials of Democracy public art project. Click HERE for information about other events taking place this weekend.
