Can I watch the YouTube live streaming without logging in to a YouTube account?

Yes you can watch any YouTube live stream or video without creating or logging in to a YouTube account.

How do I know if the event has started?

“Live Now” means the stream is currently airing. If you click on it, you’ll be taken to the most recent point of the stream. A holding slide will be shown a few minutes before the conference starts. You can tell whether the live is still going based on the “Live” display next to the volume controls.

Do I need to watch from the start?

No – you can click on the link to watch the conference any time you like. If you click on the link during the event and want to watch it from the beginning, you can rewind the live to any point by using the slide bar. You can also skip back to the current place at any time should you chose to skip

What if I can't watch during the livestream because of time difference?

Once the live stream is over, a replay of the whole stream will appear on our channel. Please note that this will only be available for a limited amount of time until 8th September. It will then be taken down for post production editing.

1. I am having trouble connecting or it is very slow/stops?

If there is an issue with the CHC YouTube Livestream from our end, we will email all ticket holders to let you know. However, the majority of connection problems are to do with individual devices or your internet connection.

A common solution is to try closing and reopening your browser or application you are using to watch or try another device. And check how many tabs you already have open – some, particularly those containing other live streams or video and streaming services, could affect the viewing experience.

I would like to add a donation to support your work - how can I do this?

You can purchase donation tickets through Eventbrite. For every £15 raised we will provide the livestream and recordings of the conference to students around the world. If you would prefer to make a donation this can be done via our PayPal link given above.

What is your Refund Policy?

As a charity we are dependent on the goodwill of our delegates and the donations we receive. Under normal circumstances we are unable to offer refunds for cancellation of livestream tickets, please contact us at conferences@the-chc.org if this policy would cause you hardship.

I would also like to access the recordings after the event, how can I do this?

You can buy a ticket for 2 day conference livestream with exclusive access to the post production recordings. Recordings may be available for purchase at a later date, but to ensure you don't miss out, consider purchasing the ticket that includes them.
