Description

IFT 2017 West & Wales Meeting - Now Available for Booking

The Role of the Independent CRO/Turnaround Director

The Independent CRO/ Turnaround Director role is often described as “The Missing Link between Banks, Panel Firms and Legal Firms” or referred to “A Magician Pulling Rabbits out of a Hat”, and is often the missing part of the jigsaw to help management teams in turnaround situations. This meeting will provide a unique insight and opportunity to discuss the interaction between the CRO / Turnaround Director with other advisors and stakeholders.

We expect that the discussion will cover some of the common themes that CROs and Turnaround Directors often encounter, including:

- Creating a turnaround plan and determining how this is communicated to the stakeholders and advisors.

- Establishing communication channels between Bank, Panel firm, stakeholders.

- Knowing when to involve who?

- How to best avoid conflicts on the journey.

- Monitoring the delivery of Management’s plan.

- Supporting an AMA process.

- Shadow Director risks.

- How to sign off/ end the assignment.

- David Stone, Prompt Interim

- Rob Lewis, PwC
- Nick Subert, RBS
- Albert Farrant, Agathos Management
