Ig Nobels Face-to-face

The Ig Nobel Prize honours things that make people LAUGH, then THINK. Ten new prizes have been awarded every year since 1991 in topics from Astronomy to Entomology.

At this special event, Ig Nobel Prize winners will gather on stage to ask each other questions about their work. Hear from some of the leading minds in science about how research on the unlikeliest of subjects can have important real world implications, or how seemingly simple research can lead to unexpected results. What you can expect is some hilarious and enlightening stories of some of the strangest and intriguing scientific research in recent years.

The Ig Nobel Prize winners are kept strictly secret until their unveiling in September. We will update this page as soon as we know which winners, past and present, are taking part in the discussion.
