Event description

Description

Ignite Guildford is a youth worship night that brings the youth of Guildford together in one place. We've loved how Ignite has been a place for young people to meet other Christians and realise that they are not alone in their lives, schools and walks with Jesus. At each Ignite we have a time of worship, giving praise to God because we believe he is good! We get to spend time praying for one another while trying to have as much fun as possible and raising up young people to lead alongside us.

Ignite has continued to grow over the last few months, and we are excited to announce our next event is happening on the 21st of May 2017, at the Boileroom, Guildford.

FAQs

Will there be photos or videos taken at Ignite?

Yes we will be taking photographs and video for the purposes of promoting Ignite. These Images will be posted on social media and on publications for Ignite, St Saviours, Emmaus Rd, and 24-7 Prayer.

There may be several reasons why you or your child would prefer to be left out of our pictures, if this is the case we would ask that you pick up a sticker from our welcome team and wear it in a visable place throughout the event. We'll then make every effort to keep you out of our images and footage.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You don't normally need to bring ID with you, but the event is hosted for people in school years 7-13. If our door staff think you look a little too young or a little too old for the event, they may ask you to prove your age.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

If you're coming from further a field to the event, you can get the train to Guildford and the Boileroom is around a ten-minute walk for the train station. It's easy to find of Google maps.

Unfortunately parking near to the Boileroom can be slightly tricky, and so we would ask parents to avoid waiting or parking outside the venue unless it's absolutely necessary. Parents can park on Artillery Road or across York Road in the Waitrose Car park.

Accessibility

The Boileroom has level entry to the main venue through the front enterance. They also have a disabled W/C available through the use of a RADAR key, which you can gain access to from the bar, or alternatively you may use your own.

The Boileroom work with the organisation Attitude is Everything and are constantly striving to improve the live music experience for all their customers, encouraging inclusivity and equality.

If you have any queries about accessibility you can contact the Boileroom directly on info@theboileroom.net or by telephone 01483 440022.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

You can E-mail igniteguildford@gmail.com or alternatively send us a Facebook message. It's also possible to communicate with the Ignite team through the youth worker at your church.

What's the refund policy?

As the tickets are free, we don't have a refund policy. However, as we have limited space in the venue, if you can't make it we would ask that you return your tickets so that they can be made available to someone else.
