Come along and find out about mindfulness and take part in guided mindfulness with Becky Thoseby.

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is about focusing on the right now without thinking about what’s happened in the past or might happen in the future. It helps you experience thoughts and feelings and events without judgement.

Do you sometimes find it hard to focus and concentrate at work when there are so many thoughts or worries crowding in on you?

This is where mindfulness can help. It’s a way of paying attention to - and seeing clearly - what’s happening in our lives. It cannot eliminate life's pressures or solve your problems, but it can help you respond more calmly.

Mindfulness is increasingly being seen as an inherent human capacity which can be developed through practice. So while we’re all mindful some of the time, we can train ourselves to be better.
