Being able to recognize our emotional states and regulate our responses is an essential component of our mental wellbeing. "Mindfulness provides a way to cultivate emotional balance and decrease the hold of habitual patterns that obscure perception and impair judgment" (Kabat-Zinn, 1990).
At this workshop we will be exploring our relationship to our emotional states using mindful meditations and through visual cues. Emmy Yeadon, a transformational leader and life development coach will be demonstrating the use of her innovative and creative Ignition Cards, which are used to enable deep insights into the emotional blockers that prevent us from having the life we desire and deserve. You will be given the chance to explore your own states using the cards in a fun and inspirational way. I (Trish Nugent, a Mindfulness Coach and Holistic Therapist) will be guiding the mindful meditations. You will discover methods and insights into how to stay mindfully balanced and emotionally aware.
