June sees us at Weston Park for talks on the conservation of Registered Parks & Gardens and how the now mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) impacts on heritage. We'll meet in The Snug, a private dining area next to the main restaurant.
If you haven't been to Weston Park before, you're in for a treat! As their website says, they're 'home to a world renowned art collection, a magnificent stately home, one epic Woodland Adventure Playground and 1,000 acres of glorious Capability Brown parkland for you to enjoy and explore.'
After lunch, we'll visit the church and the Temple of Diana, with a talk by one of the Weston Park team.
Places are limited, so please book your ticket now to avoid disappointment. Prices are £15 for members and £20 for non-members, including lunch and tea/coffee throughout the day. Guests are more than welcome to attend. By Car: Weston-under-Lizard is situated north west of Wolverhampton and east of Telford, off the A5, with easy access to the M54 and M6.
By Rail: The nearest rail stations are at Cosford and Shifnal, with about a 6 mile taxi journey to Weston Park
