About this Event

Jane Grenville is a British archaeologist and academic, specialising in the archaeology of medieval buildings. Her early career was in field archaeology, heritage, and building conservation. In 1991, she joined the University of York as a lecturer in archaeology. She is now working on the revision of Pevsner, North Riding of Yorkshire, and her research has revealed the idiosyncrasies of Pevsner’s visit to North Yorkshire, and many further buildings etc worthy of mention. A fascinating insight into the work of Pevsner and his research.
