Join Dr Jennifer Coles from Edinburgh Futures Institute, for the first session in IHE's inaugural Teaching & Learning SymposiumJenny is an Academic Developer at the Institute for Academic Development, University of Edinburgh. She is editor of Teaching Matters learning and teaching blog, leads the University’s Annual Learning and Teaching Conference, and provides pedagogical support for University course and programme design.Her interests include interdisciplinary learning and teaching, student co-creation, professional learning, climate crisis pedagogy, and sociomaterial methodologies. During 2023-24, Jenny designed and taught on the new undergraduate interdisciplinary programme (MSc Interdisciplinary Futures) at the Edinburgh Futures Institute. As part of her work, she helped create a Toolkit for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching, and co-authored an Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching Manifesto.This session will hear about the Toolkit and the Manifesto as prompts to help others engage and develop interdisciplinary practice, and will engage IHE members in discussion about how this could apply in their contexts.Booking information: IHE Members and Launchpad subscribersThis event is free for IHE Members and Launchpad subscribers.
