IHPN & CQC will be holding their sixth annual joint Patient Safety Conference on Thursday 15 May from 9:30am – 4:00pm at The Law Society, central London. Always one of our most popular members-only events, this year's conference - supported by Capsticks will focus on Patients Safety in a changing Healthcare Landscape.

We are delighted that we will be joined by CQC's Chief Executive Sir Julian Hartley who will provide an overview of the progress that the regulator has made since the publication of independent reviews. Sir Julian will also share his thoughts on the regulator’s priorities over the coming months and years.

Other keynote speakers we are excited to be welcoming are Professor Henrietta Hughes OBE, Patient Safety Commissioner for England and Dr Rosie Benneyworth, Chief Executive at Health Service Safety Investigation Body (HSSIB) who will share with us their view on the progress made in patient safety and the opportunities provided by the changing quality and safety landscape.

In the afternoon, delegates will have the opportunity to attend two break-out sessions where they will hear from HSSIB colleagues who will provide an overview of important safety investigations and also hear from a member organisation who implemented changes linked to the area of patient safety that HSSIB have investigated.
