About this Event
Making the most of professional learning and development opportunities; how can we continue to thrive as school leaders?
The Leadership Series offers existing and aspiring school leaders (teaching and support staff roles) an opportunity to meet fellow school leaders from across the region, to have input from experienced leaders across our community on a theme of school leadership and a forum to discuss and share experiences. These events are for the schools’ education community and are free to attend.
High tea will be served from 16:30 onwards. We look forward to welcoming you as we share and develop knowledge, expertise and practice across our community.
Who is this for?
- Currently in a middle or senior leadership role
- Aspiring to be a middle or senior leader
- Interested in leadership research into practice
What will we cover in this session?
Making the most of professional learning and development opportunities; how can we continue to thrive as school leaders?
How are you sowing the seeds in the present to enable you to flourish in the future? This seminar will explore how to continue to thrive as a school leader. By making the most of professional learning and development opportunities, you will stay motivated, upskilled and deepen your learning. As school leaders, this focus on self can feel indulgent, but we will discuss why it is fundamental to your efficacy as a leader.
